You Failed, Miserably!

In TV shows the cops always get the hostages free without any casualties, but this wasn't TV, so that doesn’t always happen.  Immediately after the Israelis were captured the West German police attempted to negotiate to free them.  The German police spoke with the terrorists about trading the Israelis freedom for their request of freeing 234 Palestinian, prisoners-of-war in Israel.  The Israeli government answered no to allowing the prisoners-of-war to be freed.  Following this the Germans attempted to get another deal, but Black September terrorists refused.  The two sides tried to trick each other resulting in the deaths of many people.  We don’t live in a perfect world, and we never will, but we should make some better efforts.

Failures in Short:

• To get the Israelis free and downright complete diplomacy
• To complete any request of any nation or peoples
