The Lack of Negotiation

Diplomacy: the act of negotiating between countries or groups.  Diplomacy may have occurred, but it wasn’t successful, after all, 17 people died.  All of these people would be alive if the Israelis and Palestinians could get along.  The West German government tried to find a middle point, a deal, with the terrorists, but failed.  Both groups only focused on their desires, not even thinking of the other side’s request.  In that moment diplomacy was a bust.  Historically, successful diplomacy rarely occurs, because humans only think of themselves.
